The year started off with a bang, with our Afternoon Concert at Old Saint Paul’s earlier today! It was the first performance for our newly reformed choir and presented a very wide range of pieces, from the quiet melodies of Brahms’ Geistliches Lied to the thundering notes of Widor’s glorious Tantum Ergo. And a excellent performance it was, I daresay. Superb effort on part of everyone in the choir, thank you all! Our thanks to organist Calum Robertson and to John, it was a grand event in a grand venue. And of course our thanks to the audience for showing up in the first place.
Stay tuned for further updates on our Christmas gigs, in the meanwhile enjoy a few pictures from today, courtesy of photographer Andrew Perry.
